Start gently dematting or combing through the coat and removing all debris, espicially around the eyes. I prefer to use a disinfected fine tooth plastic comb in the eye area. Prepared warm water for dogs to stand in and soothingly wet the dog from behind the ears to the tail making sure you have a firm, reasuring hold on them at all times. Use diluted shampoo (50% shampoo to 50% water). Lather all over and rinse well. I recommend a conditioning no-tear shampoo and a leave in conditioner. Brush while blow drying and be sure to KEEP THEMWARM AT ALL TIMES AND MAKE IT FUN!!!
